Middle School Day 2026: How to Youth
Saturday @ 10am-2pm
Middle School Day is a mini-conference for 6th-8th grade students that rallies them together for fellowship, fun, and discipleship! A catered lunch is provided - Middle School Day is free and a great place to invite friends and guests!
This year's theme is titled: How to Youth. We will explore what Scripture has to say about topics and seasons that middle school students walk through as they begin a new school, learn about biblical friendships, and what Scripture calls them to be even as young-er students.
This year we have many of our high school seniors who will be investing in them and leading breakout sessions - sharing their wisdom and knowledge and getting to know our amazing middle school students!
Parenting Milestones: Sending off Seniors
Sunday @ 9:45am
Parenting is a sacred calling, and each stage of a childβs life brings new joysβand new challenges. Parenting Milestones is a new series of gatherings designed to encourage and equip parents as they guide their children through key transitions in their spiritual walk with the Lord.
Each session will focus on a specific age or stage. We'll explore practical strategies, offer biblical encouragement, and provide space for conversation, connection, and prayer with other parents in the same season.
This session is tailored to parents who have seniors graduating high school in 2027. Students will attend WCR Students during this parent info session.
Letβs walk this parenting road togetherβone milestone at a time.
Disaster Response: Fayetteville
Oct 20, 6:30am-5:00pm
We are sending a team to assist Baptist on Mission Disaster Response teams in Fayetteville, NC. Volunteers will help with chainsaw work and debris cleanup after local tornadoes. We have two trained crew leaders leading our team, so you do NOT need to be trained to deploy.
Meet at the church at 6:30AM on Tuesday, October 20, and we will ride together. We will work all day Tuesday and return to the church that same day around 5PM.
Please register online by Monday to commit to serving Tuesday so we can provide Baptist on Mission with an accurate headcount. The trip is open to anyone 18 and older due to Baptist on Mission restrictions on chainsaw/heavy equipment.
Men's Burger Night

October is Pastor/Elder Appreciation Month!
Drop a note in the basket at the Welcome Desk to let our pastors and elders know how much you appreciate them!
Our pastors and elders faithfully serve our church in so many ways, both visibly and behind the scenes. Weβre grateful for the time, prayer, and care they invest in the life of our church. Take a moment this month to encourage them with a note of appreciation, and thank you for faithfully praying for our pastors and elders!

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there?
Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next?
In this 7-session video-based study, youβll explore the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. Through video lessons, we will help you separate whatβs true about Heaven from whatβs based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses.
As you walk through the study, youβll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits.
Donβt just wonder about Heavenβembrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.
