Donuts with Dads

Donuts with Dads is coming this Sunday (2/8)! The purpose behind Donuts with Dads is for dads and their kids to enjoy a tasty treat together, and also be intentional by engaging in meaningful conversation as you eat. Often we allow the urgent things to get in the way of the important things β so we have provided the space and the donuts so that you may use that time to invest in the important things! We will provide every dad with a small half-sheet of questions and conversation starters to get the conversation going, but do not feel confined to them.
Here are a few logistical details so you are prepared to have a great morning:
- When: Donuts will be served at 9:00am self-serve style.
- Where: Meet us in the ROC - kitchen side
- What: Donuts and conversation with your kiddos. This is an at-your-own pace, so use the time and questions as needed.
- Menu: We are providing assorted donuts and glazed donut holes from Heritage Donuts, 2% milk, and OJ. There will be plenty for everyone!

Host a Viewing Party for the Big Game

In place of our regular Sunday night connect this week, weβre asking all WCR church members to open their homes to friends, neighbors, and coworkers to watch the big game together!
This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, share fellowship, and get to know others in your community in a relaxed and fun setting.
Letβs make this Super Bowl Sunday more than just a gameβletβs make it a time to show Godβs love through hospitality and friendship.

Disaster Response: Tennessee
February 18-22
Baptist on Mission Volunteers are deploying to Tennessee to assist with damage due to an Ice Storm.
We will be sending a team to assist Baptist on Mission Disaster Response teams in Linden, Tennessee. Volunteers are helping with chainsaw work and tree/brush cleanup, and maybe some roof tarping. You do NOT need to be trained to deploy with our team.
Meet at the church at 8AM on Wednesday, February 18, and we will ride together. We will work full days Thursday through Saturday, and return to the church Sunday evening around 8PM.
Please register online to commit to serving these dates so we can provide Baptist on Mission with an accurate headcount. Trips are open to church members age 16+.

Serve Sunday

We believe God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve and help further His Kingdom, and serving is an act of worship. On Sunday, February 15, join us for a special church-wide Serving Opportunities Info Session designed to help you discover ministry opportunities at WCR.
Whether youβre new to WCR or have been here for years, this is a great opportunity to learn more about our ministries, ask questions, and find new ways to get involved and serve.
Schedule:
- 9:45 AM β Meet in the Worship Center for our church-wide info Session
(Bible Study classes will not meet. Childcare available for ages 0β5.) - 10:15 AM β Head to the ROC to explore each serving opportunity in more detail and get your questions answered
(Coffee and snacks provided.) - 11:00 AM β Worship Begins
We hope youβll join us and prayerfully consider where God may be calling you to serve!
Childcare is available for kids ages 0-5. Kindergarten children and older are invited to attend the serving expo with their parents.

Join us for a church-wide business meeting to discuss important topics affecting our church members, including our annual budget report and member notifications.

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 5:30PM, we invite you to slow down and enjoy a meal with your church family. This is a great opportunity to connect with others midweek before jumping into Wednesday Night Equip.

Parenting Milestones: Preschool Prep

Parenting is a sacred calling, and each stage of a childβs life brings new joysβand new challenges. Parenting Milestones is a new series of gatherings designed to encourage and equip parents as they guide their children through key transitions in their spiritual walk with the Lord.
Each session will focus on a specific age or stage. We'll explore practical strategies, offer biblical encouragement, and provide space for conversation, connection, and prayer with other parents in the same season.
Letβs walk this parenting road togetherβone milestone at a time.
This session is tailored to parents of children under the age of 5
Preschoolers are invited to attend WCR Kids during this parent info session.
