Church Family,
We have an exciting update to share regarding our Children’s Director position. After meeting and praying through the opportunity, Heather Dixon has agreed to serve as our interim Children’s Director starting this Sunday, February 8th, 2026.
Heather is a beloved member of our church body and has faithfully served and grown our amazing Women’s Ministry for many years - a role which she will continue to lead alongside the new interim Children’s role.
Heather brings a level of excitement and vision to everything she does that honors the Lord, involves the church, and pursues excellence. We are excited that the Lord has led us here. We believe the addition of Heather’s wisdom and leadership will serve as a unique opportunity to connect Kids and Women’s ministry together in unique ways for family equipping and ministry to our children. At our coming family meeting on Sunday, February 15th, we plan to take a few moments to explain further about how the Lord led us here and be able to answer any questions you may have.
As you see Mrs. Dixon this Sunday make sure you make her feel welcomed as a staff member of Wake Cross Roads!
