Good Friday Service
TONIGHT at 6:30 PM
On Good Friday, we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered, was crucified on the cross, and died as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Though the Friday of Jesusβ death was a dark and terrible day, we refer to it as Good Friday, because His death on that day paid our debt in full and allows us to enjoy freedom, forgiveness, and peace with God.
Join us for a special service tonight at 6:30PM as we reflect and remember the good news of the cross. Children are welcome to attend with their families.
Easter at Wake Cross Roads
Sunday at 9:30AM & 11:00AM
He is RISEN! Join us for Easter Sunday at Wake Cross Roads this Sunday. We look forward to celebrating Jesus' resurrection with you this Easter!
On this special Sunday, we will have two identical worship services at 9:30AM & 11:00AM, so you may choose which one to attend.
There will be no Bible study classes this Sunday.
Childcare is available for ages 5 and under at each service. Children are welcome to attend service with their families.
Elder Nominations
Accepting Recommendations Now
Our bylaws require that the number of lay elders exceed the number of staff pastors by one. In light of the addition of our new Worship Pastor, we will need to appoint one additional lay elder to begin serving immediately.
Additionally, at the end of the year, two of our current lay elders, Mike Lawson and Wayland Holden, will rotate off as elders upon the completion of their terms.

Come along as we travel to the Mount Olive Pickle Parlor! Weβll watch a video on their pickle-making process and have time to browse their store.
Weβll leave at 8:30 AM and enjoy lunch at Cracker Barrel. Itβs sure to be a wonderful day together!
Graduate Sunday 2026

Let's celebrate our graduates! We want to recognize each of our high school, college, or post-grad students graduating this Spring. We will have a special moment of recognition during the 11:00AM worship service on May 3.
This recognition will act as an opportunity for our church to pray for them as they head off in different directions. Please register your graduate so we can recognize them for their hard work this year! Invite your friends and family to attend this special service for their graduate.
Parent/Child Dedication

Our Parent/Child dedication is a special ceremony held during our Sunday morning worship service to give thanks for a new baby, recognize the responsibility of parents to raise their baby in the way of the Lord, and acknowledge the support of our church community. If you are a current member of Wake Cross Roads and your family is interested in participating, please register your child and we will be in contact with next steps.
