Accepting Recommendations Now
Our bylaws require that the number of lay elders exceed the number of staff pastors by one. In light of the addition of our new Worship Pastor, we will need to appoint one additional lay elder to begin serving immediately.
Additionally, at the end of the year, two of our current lay elders, Mike Lawson and Wayland Holden, will rotate off as elders upon the completion of their terms.

Muffins with Mom β A Multi-Generational Celebration!
Join us for a special morning celebrating the mother and child bond! Children and young adults under the age of 23 are invited to bring their moms to a heartwarming Mother/Child Breakfast at 9AM in the gym before Bible study classes begin.
Enjoy breakfast, fellowship, and meaningful connection across generations as we celebrate together. We look forward to seeing you there!

Graduate Sunday 2026

Let's celebrate our graduates! We want to recognize each of our high school, college, or post-grad students graduating this Spring. We will have a special moment of recognition during the 11:00AM worship service on May 3.
This recognition will act as an opportunity for our church to pray for them as they head off in different directions. Please register your graduate so we can recognize them for their hard work this year! Invite your friends and family to attend this special service for their graduate.
Mother's Day Volunteers

Motherβs Day Volunteers Needed β Men, We Need You!
Weβre looking for a few good men to help make Motherβs Day special! If you're available before or after Bible Study and Worship on May 10, we could use your help in the following areas:
- Food Pick-Up β Grab the pre-ordered food from Publix in Rolesville at 8:45 AM and deliver to the church by 9AM.
- Food Attendant β Manage the food, keep things tidy, and help serve food as needed.
- Bouquet Wrappers β Ladies will pick out their own flowers and bring them to you to be wrapped, bagged, and tied with a ribbon.
- Post-Event Clean-Up β Tear down all tables, sweep the floor, pack up food, and take out trash.
Weβve created the following shifts so you can serve at a time that works best for your schedule:
- 9AM-10AM - Before Bible Study
- 10:30AM-11:15AM - Before Worship
- 12PM-1PM - After Worship
Choose a serving position at registration and then select your desired shift time. Thank you for serving our church in this way!
Parent/Child Dedication

Our Parent/Child dedication is a special ceremony held during our Sunday morning worship service to give thanks for a new baby, recognize the responsibility of parents to raise their baby in the way of the Lord, and acknowledge the support of our church community. If you are a current member of Wake Cross Roads and your family is interested in participating, please register your child and we will be in contact with next steps.
